Clayton J. Perry, DDS

Smiles… they fascinate me and they always have.

Growing up with a father for a dentist, I was taught at a young age the nuances of a smile. While it may be true that your eyes are a window to your soul, it’s a smile that frames your face and contributes to self-esteem. That is why I love my job. I love to teach patients the path to a healthy smile, and give them the confidence they need.

My philosophy is to recommend the same care I would for myself, or my loved ones, and my primary goal is to cultivate long-term relationships with my patients.

I was born and raised in Novato and like to call it home. And like my father, I love to be part of the community I work in. I attended dental school at University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

In my spare time you will find me enjoying the beautiful outdoors that Marin has to offer. I love biking, trail running, swimming, hiking and paddle boarding all over the county. I am married and have two kids.

Vincent J. Freemantle, DDS

For me, dentistry is the perfect job. It combines my desire to build relationships with my patients, improving their smiles and oral health, and finding appropriate solutions to the wide range of patient’s needs.

I love practicing in the community that I grew up in, starting as an Associate at a local dentist’s office in 1999, and then joining Novato Family Dental Care in 2002.

I completed my undergrad work at UC Santa Barbara, and then graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1999. I taught at UOP part time as faculty in the Dental Anatomy course for 2 years from 1999-2001.

I live in Novato with my wife Karen and our three kids. As a family we enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, houseboating and skiing. I enjoy mountain biking in the Marin and Sonoma hills, and Dr. Perry and I have biked in Moab, UT and Whistler, CA several times.

I look forward to treating you and your family.

Lisa Strong

Lisa Strong comes to our office with a varied skill set. She has worked in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant and front desk coordinator for 30 years. She graduated from Brigham Young Univercity with a Bachelor in Education and teaching credential. But her greatest asset is being raised in a dental family where her father and both brothers are dentists. She is a mother of 3 sons and 1 daughter and Grandmother (Jamz) to 6 grandkids. We welcome her to Novato Family Dental with open arms as the new office manager.

Lisa, Front Desk

Working at Novato Family Dental Care keeps me busy enough that time flies by, but not so much that I feel overwhelmed or stressed. I like to work on a variety of tasks. I have always really enjoyed working with and assisting people. I get a great deal of satisfaction providing patients with estimates, researching, and educating them on how to maximize their insurance benefits. I enjoy setting up financial arrangements that will allow patients to move forward with the treatment they desire.

Traci, Front Desk

My name is Traci. I’ve worked for Novato Family Dental Care since 2013. In November of 2019 I started working full time as appointment coordinator. I’m the first person you see when coming through the front door of our practice. I enjoy meeting new people and making our patients feel at home. Novato is my hometown. I especially love to see people I haven’t seen since I was a young girl. The staff and doctors are top notch and make all feel welcome. Outside of work my passion is working on the two acres I live on. I love to garden and hang out with my boyfriend and my English Bullterrier Callie.

Lily, Registered Dental Assistant

I’ve worked at Novato Family Dental Care for 34 years, and I love my job. I enjoy interacting with the patients, helping patients feel comfortable, and supporting their dental needs. I love educating patients on how to manage their dental care. I enjoy supporting patients in making treatment decisions by giving them all the options and possible outcomes, so they feel informed and comfortable about the choices they make. I love the time spent with my family and out in nature.

Sharon, Registered Dental Assistant

I came from the beautiful island of Jamaica. I have been working for Novato Family Dental Care since 2016. I love being a part of this awesome dental team, and seeing lives changed through what we do. I believe education is an essential element in our profession, because only through knowledge can we grow, and deliver the best dental care to our patients.

Sally, Registered Dental Assistant

My job can be gratifying. I get satisfaction helping people, and that’s why I’ve worked at Novato Family Dental Care for 30 years. I try to connect with every patient on a personal level. I want to make a difference in their appointment by comforting them, answering questions, or just listening. When I’m not working, I spend time with my children and three grandsons. I like to garden, go to Antiquing, garage selling, reading, and going to concerts.
